Born in El Salvador, raised in Houston Texas, Ricardo was introduced to massage therapy at the age of 12 after several basketball related injuries. He realized the importance of receiving treatment and rehab for his injuries.  In 2003 he completed his training and received his massage therapy license from the state of Texas.  In 2004 he also received his certification as a NCT radiology technician.  He was an x-ray technician/massage therapist for a chiropractic clinic in the southwest area from 2003-2010.  While there, he spent most of his time taking x-rays and was not able to practice massage therapy as much as he wanted.  In 2010, be began working for a chiropractic clinic in Pearland Texas where he worked for the next 12 years.  Under the supervision of several chiropractors, his knowledge of anatomy and physiology skills were improved.  There, as the lead therapist, he also learned and perform advanced bodywork techniques and rehab protocols.  In the summers of 2011 and 2012 he also worked at a 4 diamond resort in Galveston Texas, where he learned and performed many spa treatments. Customer service and attention to detail were essential during his time at the resort.  His mission as a therapist is to promote a pain-free lifestyle through massage and bodywork.  He wants to utilize his training and skills to help clients recover from pain and recuperate for training and competition.  

 

Ricardo and his wife Nanci are proud parents to three wonderful children, Leslie, Kathy, and Sunny.  In his spare time he enjoys joking around with his girls, watching comedy sitcoms and series, and cheering on the Rockets, Astros, or Texans, especially the Rockets (when they’re good).
